Creative Station, H-57

H-57 is a design and advertising studio based in Milan, Italy.

For fifteen years, the H-57 team worked for large international advertising agencies, doing print, TV, web and radio campaigns for the likes of Vodafone, Ray-Ban, Coca-Cola, Martini, and Unilever.

Then, in 2004, they decided to set up a different kind of agency – an agile, boutique company working across advertising, package design, typography and illustration. Among other projects, they designed the font for Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes film, and three typographic Star Wars posters in conjunction with Lucasfilm and Make-A-Wish Italy, which receives all proceeds from sales.

Since they began creating their ‘history of’ typodesign illustrations in collaboration with First Floor Under, an online design and pop culture magazine, they have amassed a legion of fans around the world and were awarded a bronze lion for design at Cannes 2013.
