Ed Yong is an award-winning science writer. His blog ‘Not Exactly Rocket Science’ is hosted by National Geographic and won a prestigious Keck Science Communication award from the National Academies of Science in 2010 for “engaging and jargon-free multimedia storytelling about science in the digital age”. His work has also appeared in Wired, Nature, the BBC, New Scientist, Scientific American, Aeon, Discover, and more. He regularly speaks about science and science writing—most recently about mind-controlling parasites at the TED2014 conference. He lives in London.
