Emily Mackie was born in Winchester in 1983 and grew up in the Scottish Highlands. She graduated with an MA in Creative writing from Bath Spa University in 2007 and now lives in Bristol.
Her first novel, And This Is True , was nominated for the Dylan Thomas Prize, and she is currently working on her second.
