Fran Abrams has served as the education correspondent of the Sunday Times, the Sunday Telegraph and the Independent. She reports regularly for Radio Four’s File on 4 programme and writes for the Guardian’s G2 section. She is the recipient of the 2007 Joseph Rowntree Foundation Journalist Fellowship for her work on NEETS (Children not in education or training).
